Your role and responsibilities

As the Sales Manager for SEAM for US, Electrification, Service Division, you will be responsible for directing the SEAM sales activities in US, ensuring growth and achievement of targeted sales, margins, market share and customer satisfaction Reporting to the SEAM Global Marketing & Sales Leader - you will define and implement sales initiatives in line with strategy, while proactively leading, developing and coaching the sales team.
The Sales Manager is accountable for developing and ensuring successful implementation of the SEAM Group sales strategy in US while aligning with global priorities and local strategic direction, to profitably achieve qualitative and quantitative targets with strong collaboration with the sales organization in the existing US Services Division organization.
This role will be reporting to the ELSE SEAM Global Sales and Marketing Manager and the role will be based in the US. The position will require to travel in US, and occasionally internationally, at least 50% of the time.
* Supports sales for SEAM Groups divisions, with a direct tie to Arc Flash, Infrared, Preventative Maintenance, and Renewables lines of business for electrical safety.
* Defines, develops, and executes the strategies and business plans related to focus segments, channels, and applications for identified markets in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams.
* Defines Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for existing products as well as new product launches in collaboration with the Marketing function and ensures their achievement.
* Defines marketing and sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to effectively monitor performance, in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
* Ensures profitable business growth focused on orders, revenues, margins, market shares, and customer satisfaction, as well as the implementation of particular product, application, and segment initiatives, in collaboration with the division stakeholders.
* Oversees the implementation of activities for agreed cross-divisional, product group, and regional initiatives.
* Supports the organization in the execution of product launches and customer events when required.
* Understands segment, channel, and customer needs in the market and creates new business opportunities.
* Develops and implements product support and training to ensure high customer satisfaction in collaboration with Product Management and the global team.
* Manages commercial and technical support for the Sales team in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
* Supports continuous improvement of Net Promoter Score (NPS) by overseeing the execution of customer satisfaction surveys, analyzing results, and taking corrective actions as necessary.
* Ensures effective approach to global and regional accounts.
* Shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • More than 10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Management
  • Good understanding on the SEAM Core Portfolio, being sales in the electrical division. Primarily Arc Flash, Infrared, Preventative Maintenance and Renewables.
  • 3 - 5 years of strategic development experience.
  • Good understanding of the customer's problems needs and challenges as well as industry-specific knowledge preferred.
  • Good insights on competitive landscape, competitor's offering, and competitor's go-to-market model.
  • Effective communication & interpersonal skills with great negotiation and influencing skills.
