The Job at a Glance
The Senior FP&A Analyst will support key functional leaders on the executive team, with a focus on Sales, Marketing, and Operations. You will be a key player on the finance team in the strategic and operational planning process and will report to the Group CFO.
A Typical Day
- Partner with the CFO and commercial leadership team to bring improved financial visibility and planning to the organization
- Operate as a key leader to develop/maintain the organization's short- and long-term financial plans and identifying financial opportunities to improve the organization's profitability
- Drive analyses that deliver insights and recommendations to the leadership team for strategic and actionable operational planning decisions
- Improve budget and forecast process and accuracy
- Identify, measure, and communicate key performance metrics
- Drive forecast accuracy, predictability in results, and adherence to high standards. Provide timely and accurate analysis of results and trends.
- Oversee FP&A systems and tools. Build and maintain the tools and processes to provide performance measurement and reporting to the management team
- Actively drive the implementation and continuous improvement of robust operational metrics and financial drivers to ensure accurate profitability analysis and tactical decision making
- Participate in cross-functional business projects and perform ad hoc analysis as required.
To Land This Opportunity
- You have been successful in a fast paced / high growth company, preferably in manufacturing or distribution
- You have a strong work ethic, the utmost ethical standards, a high sense of urgency, the ability to roll-up your sleeves and have a passionate desire to drive results
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills, skilled in translating ideas into clear, high impact communications
- You can influence senior leadership and operationally execute decisions
- You have excellent analytical, decision-making, project management and financial modeling abilities
- You can partner cross functionally, through strong relationship building and communication skills, with all levels of management
- You have the curiosity to take deep dives into status quo and drive effective changes that scale, even (or especially) if it means establishing new processes or addressing what hasn't been done before
- You have 4+ years of finance experience including increasing FP&A responsibilities
- Your BS degree is in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent. MBA preferred and a plus
- You enjoy a hybrid schedule, working from home Monday & Friday, in the office Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
