Job Description

Wholesale Lending Production Readiness Manager will be responsible for the direct management Production Readiness function. S/He will partner with key internal stakeholders (Operations, Technology, Banking, Analytics, Compliance and Risk) to drive end-to-end delivery on a Front-to-Back strategy forloans and service model that fully supports, satisfies and anticipates the reporting needs of thebusiness and our regulators.

The role requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of multiple systems, theories and practices related to the Loans function. In-depth knowledge of the industry and direct competitors' products/services is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. The Data Analysis Group Manager will develop medium to long term plans and execute functional strategies for complex regional and country structures requiring coordination and integration across units. S/He will provide input into strategic decisions affecting the Loans function within a region or business.

The right candidate will have an understanding of the strategic direction of the Loans function. Excellent communication skills are required in order to influence a wide range of audiences. The job may involve both internal and external negotiations which will have a major impact on the area managed, and possibly on related areas and organization as a whole.

The individual will have full management responsibility of multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning. S/He has the authority to negotiate and make independent decisions on issues/activities that have critical impact or influence on company revenues, capital or business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Production Readiness function team , develop a operating framework with procedures , controls and documented processes
  • Collaborate with senior and executive management to develop logical solutions
  • Lead communications with key internal (e.g. Data Heads ) and external stakeholders (e.g. investor community, regulators).
  • Drive change management strategy through execution of strategic initiatives
  • Maintain awareness of changing industry trends, competition and regulations that impact any phase of success of the lending business
  • Drive alignment across key business functions to prioritize and develop actionable initiatives
  • Identify, prioritize, and own execution of opportunities, end to end, to drive operational efficiency and better customer experience
  • Provide functional support to drive continuous improvement across the Loans area
  • Ensure key results are well defined and clearly communicated with relevant stakeholders
  • Support all Loans data business priorities as needed
  • Drive tactical and strategic planning to ensure the loan servicing is secure and ready for the future
  • Lead organic growth initiative development and prioritization, and portfolio assessment
  • Advise Citi's senior management on high-priority initiatives, including growth strategy, product and segment strategies and cross business initiatives
  • Support performance measurement and management ranging from strategic franchise development scorecards to project/function-specific metrics.
  • Actively recruit and develop team members and encourage internal mobility opportunities.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy development and execution
  • 8+ years SDLC experience
  • 8+ years Technical Management experience
  • 8+ years experience with SQL and Python skills (preferred)
  • Strong Leadership and Motivational skills

  • Superior Planning & Organization skills
  • Excellent Workflow Management skills / experience
  • Pro-active, flexible, have good organizational skills and must be team player

  • Experience with a major consulting firm, including senior engagement management roles with client assignments of significant scope in consumer financial services
  • Demonstrates clear understanding of the drivers of performance and decision making to maximize results. Strategic thinker with proven ability to operationalize the strategy
  • Robust problem-solving skills
  • Communication skills and ability to influence others and deliver clearly articulate presentations to senior leaders. Ability to lead and direct a team of knowledge professionals

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
