ABOUT THE JOB:

The Managing Director (MD) will source, pitch and execute transactions in Consumer Products industry. Individuals are highly skilled at managing clients, identifying opportunities and running all aspects of an M&A process. They are widely recognized for deal origination and execution capabilities across a wide variety of transaction types including sell-sides, buy-sides, going privates, corporate divestitures, capital raises and Fairness Opinions. In addition, they have extensive transaction experience with public and private companies as well as private equity-owned businesses. They have proven client relationship skills and are capable of independent business development activity in partnership with Industry partners.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for revenue generation through the origination, execution and closing of M&A transactions.
  • Establish Trusted Advisor relationship with important corporate and private equity clients to drive increased M&A advisory wallet share and a consistent revenue stream
  • Build new relationships through thoughtful and targeted business development activities. Identify prospects and pull in the appropriate team and resources to drive new client growth
  • Provide technical and developmental support to junior and mid-level bankers on deal team
  • Work with team members to promote other lines of business with referrals

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 10 years M&A experience, with proven client relationships and execution capabilities
  • Experience originating deals/revenue in the Consumer Products sector
  • Series SIE, 7/79, 63 licenses
  • Possess broad M&A product knowledge and technical expertise
  • Exceptional at developing and maintaining important client relationships and generating M&A revenue from these relationships
  • Possess superior M&A execution capabilities with excellent client management and presentation skills, with an ability to source and win new business

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary of $325,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
