TITLE: Operations Manager

LOCATION: Harlingen, TX

POSITION REPORTS TO: Terminal Manager, South Texas

WAGES: Commensurate with skills and experience

Job Objective: Sun Coast Resources LLC, a RelaDyne Company, is seeking a hands-on and service-oriented Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Harlingen, Texas distribution center. This position is responsible for overseeing delivery execution, site operations, safety compliance, and customer service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong operational expertise, the ability to develop high-performing teams, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including fuel/lubricant deliveries, fleet coordination/maintenance, inventory control and DOT compliance

* Represent Sun Coast and company values in all customer and employee interactions

* Serve as the central point of contact for all customer issues involving drivers or deliveries, ensuring a high level of customer service and timely resolution

* Respond to and resolve on-site delivery issues, including spills or cross drops; perform root cause analysis, coordinate appropriate response personnel, and communicate resolution plans to the customer

* Conduct new customer site evaluations, assess delivery conditions, document site-specific requirements, and update account notes accordingly

* Lead internal driver review meetings related to incidents, in collaboration with the driver management team

* Monitor and document driver concerns, delivery site issues, and operational obstacles, providing timely feedback and support

* Partner with the driver management team to determine and administer corrective actions as needed for safety, policy, or performance violations

* Enforce DOT compliance, safety protocols, and company policies; provide ongoing coaching and guidance to promote a culture of safety

* Assist with driver recruiting efforts, including interviews, road tests, and coordination of pre-employment drug testing

* Work closely with Sales to ensure operational readiness in meeting customer demand and delivery commitments

* Ensure operational alignment with financial goals by working with the Terminal Manager to understand P&L drivers, EBITDA, and cost management strategies

* Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate customer satisfaction

* Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to safety, compliance, and performance metrics

* Promote a positive, accountable work culture by leading, mentoring, and developing site personnel

* Maintain a qualified driver status in accordance with DOT regulations, including valid CDL and current loading cards

* May be called upon to assist with deliveries, including safely operating company vehicles and transporting products as needed

* Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Terminal Manager or company leadership

REQUIREMENTS:

* Locals only please, must live within 60 miles of the terminal

* 2+ years of operations leadership experience in fuel, lubricant, or related industrial distribution

* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

* Active Class A CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement, good driving record, and ability to maintain DOT compliance and qualifications required

* Proven experience managing site operations, leading teams, and maintaining strong customer relationships

* Experience handling field incidents, customer escalations, and safety investigations

* Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

* Ability to travel, work weekends and overtime when necessary

* Coach and guide team members while assessing strengths and opportunities
