Staffmark is now hiring a Leveler for a well-established steel manufacturing distributor in Berea, KY. If

Pay Rate: $16.30/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM | Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:



  • Assist in banding coils at the recoiler and transferring them to the turnstile
  • Verify coil width and serial numbers against tags and work orders; record serials and file completed work orders
  • Aid in downtilting coils onto the packaging line and prepare them for shipping
  • Use manual and automatic banding equipment to secure coils per specifications
  • Load coils onto pallets using an electric jib crane based on customer requirements
  • Ensure product identification is attached, legible, and accurate
  • Move finished products to shipping or storage areas as needed



Requirements:



  • 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
