Staffmark is hiring a full-time Industrial CAD Designer for a direct-hire opportunity with an innovative manufacturing leader in Walnut Ridge, AR. Our client is a trusted name in the design and production of high-performance plastic components used in a wide range of industries. With decades of expertise and a strong focus on advanced technology, they continue to drive the evolution of blow molding and custom plastic design!

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Position Summary:

We're looking for a creative, detail-driven Industrial CAD Designer with strong SolidWorks experience. You'll play a key role in turning conceptual sketches into precise 3D models, collaborating with both internal teams and customers to support product innovation. If you're excited about combining technical skills with customer interaction, this position offers both hands-on design and future client-facing growth!

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert hand-drawn sketches and concepts into accurate 3D models using SolidWorks
• Assist in the refinement of existing designs and contribute to new product development
• Support prototyping and design iterations from concept to finished product
• Interact with customers to provide technical insight and design solutions
• Participate in meetings to help communicate design goals and product functionality
• Ensure designs meet standards for quality, safety, and manufacturability

What You Bring to the Team:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks required; minimum 1 year of CAD experience
• Strong ability to transform 2D concepts into fully developed 3D models
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Interest in or experience with customer service or technical sales support
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
• Background in industrial or product design is a plus
