*Job Title: Lead Cable Technician* Job Description We are seeking a skilled technician with knowledge in cable and battery installation, DC Power and 48 volt systems in the *telecommunication industry*. The ideal candidate must be proficient with balance of plant support systems such as grounding, DC power, batteries, raceway, and superstructure systems.
Responsibilities * Perform installation and removal of fiber/cables. * Perform fiber/cable pre-termination and termination. * Perform fiber/cable raceway installation. * Operate tools designed for cabling and lugging such as hydraulic crimping tools, cable cutters, heat gun, and more. Essential Skills * Knowledge of wireless, battery, low voltage, and 48 volt systems. * Experience with low voltage cabling, lacing, and terminating cable. * DC power plant builds and maintenance, including replacement of cells, racks, and auxiliary framing. * Experience with anchoring, leveling, drilling, securing racks and cables, sewing power cable, fastening copper connectors, DC bussing, cell installation, and copper power termination. * Lead experience with 48 volt power systems, cable sewing, routers and switches, cable installation, fiber optic cable, coax, structured cabling, splicing, and fiber splicing. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Willingness to travel extensively, with arrival on site in Anderson, SC on Mondays. * Capability to stay with the team in shared accommodations such as Airbnb or VRBO.
