Inova Blood Donor Services, located in Sterling, is looking for a dedicated Account Manager to join the team in supporting the Washington DC area. This role will be Full-time Day Shift: Days and Hours will vary.

Donor Operations Supervisor Job Responsibilities



  • Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.
  • Establishes, reviews, and revises performance standards for assigned staff, interacting appropriately to set goals; Communicates expectations and provides feedback; In conjunction with the leader, completes performance evaluations, employee relations, and needed disciplinary activities.
  • Provides assistance with personnel management for staff to include timecard maintenance, scheduling, staffing, PTO requests, compliance, and other administrative matters.
  • Facilitates strategies to enhance employee satisfaction. Provides information regarding professional growth and development opportunities.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for staff in the department. May instruct, train, and oversee the work of other employees with leader oversight.
  • Performs administrative responsibilities necessary to comply with Inova Health System, Blood Donor Services, FDA, AABB and CAP policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborates on performance reviews and team member counseling, coaching. Monitors collection staff to ensure successful collections and operations on blood drives and fixed sites through weekly visits.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Additional Requirements:



  • Work Schedule: Day Shift: Days and Hours will vary
  • Education: Associate's degree
  • Years of Experience: 3 years of office experience required.

    • 4 years of experience working at a Blood Donor Center preferred
