About the Role:

We are thrilled to welcome Haul Truck Operators to our Kennecott Utah Copper team! In this role, you'll be an essential part of ensuring safe and efficient mining operations. It's a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in one of the world's leading open-pit mining operations. Reporting to the Supervisor - Operations, your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with team members in discussions and initiatives to ensure everyone's safety and promote our "Zero Harm" culture.
• Following instructions from Supervisors and other leaders to operate and control assigned equipment according to standard procedures.
• Securing and arranging cargo properly within the vehicle to maintain balance.
• Addressing mechanical issues with the vehicle before driving to ensure safety and efficiency.

What You'll Bring:

• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (both day and night)
• A strong commitment to safety and smart work practices
• A valid Driver's License

Where You'll Be Working

Our Kennecott mine is a world-class, fully integrated copper mining operation located just outside Salt Lake City, Utah. We produce copper, precious metals including gold and silver, molybdenum, tellurium, and sulfuric acid. Kennecott has been mining and processing minerals from the rich ore body of the Bingham Canyon Mine since 1903 and is one of the top producing mines in the world, comprising approximately 11 percent of U.S. annual copper production.
