Medical Assistant - Gastroenterology Woodbridge, VA Pay From: $20 per hour MUST: The Medical Assistant must have the following experience: 1 solid year of experience as a clinical medical assistant Experience working in a private practice setting Rooming patients and obtaining vitals Must have strong communication skills Triaging patients Strong documentation skills Experience rooming patients and entering histories into EMR Cleaning rooms, supplies and equipment Working with medical records/EMR Must have experience assisting doctors with procedures GI experience a plus Experience handling translations for Spanish speaking candidates DUTIES: Duties will include but not be limited to the following: Rooming patients Taking patient's histories Triage patients Pre-screen patients Obtaining vitals Process lab specimens Assist with exams Document labs and notes Update patient information into EMR Prepare medical records Obtain prior-authorizations Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
