Position Summary:

As the Sr Finance Manager- MOGE, you will play a key leadership role by providing Senior Leaders with accurate and timely financial information, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve business performance. This position operates as a co-pilot and manages, controls and optimizations MOGE (Marketing and Other General Expense) White Collar/Headquarter costs.You will play a critical role in the business transformation of white collar costs and will lead benchmarking activities across internal and external entities.

This position must develop an advanced level of knowledge of the costing standards for White Collar (CSW) cost allocations and well as NAS and costing standards guidelines and methodology including driver data and allocation tools to ensure compliance. You will be responsible for the reporting & analysis of pre-allocated MOGE costs to the Nestle USA during annual budget, monthly Dynamic Forecast, and Period End Close processes. Additionally, this position is responsible for Post-Allocated MOGE costs for Nestle USA. This position would also be responsible for the overall PEC process for the SOCM team and directly oversee three Financial Analysts/Sr Analysts.

Primary Responsibilities:

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Financial planning and analysis of MOGE costs, decision support to improve overall performance in our Headquarters costs, and Nestle in the Market (NiM) controllership of shared service charges to other NiM operating companies.
  • Analyze and control Nestle USA white collar costs and drive improved performance including risks and opportunities, savings opportunities, and benchmarking activities.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting of white collar costs to identify improvements to process and transparency.
  • Own the White Collar Costing Standards (CSW) for Nestle USA including compliance, interpretation and implementation of the standards.
  • Ensures integrity of all system postings related to Marketing General, Other General and Globe IS/IT lines of the P&L. In addition, ensure the allocations of these costs to the businesses are appropriate and in compliance with the Costing Standards for White Collar costs from Vevey, GAR.
  • Ensure the company wide cost center structures and master data is in alignment with the CSW.
  • Incorporate the management of White Collar costs in the Business Service Models.
  • Lead transformational projects across MOGE
  • Actively lead, coach and develop threedirect reports
Requirements and Minimum Education Level:
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, or the equivalent required
  • CPA, CMA or MBApreferred
  • 8 years of experience in Finance

This leadership position provides strategic long-term financial guidance and champions or creates a vision for change. This person will partner with the strategic business unit / function to maximize performance throughout the organization. Provides leadership in actively coaching and developing team members. Ensures cross-functional team compliance with internal, external and operational audit requirements.
