Position Description: Assist local Community & Citizenship team to implement and promote community outreach, programs, and events. Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Assist local Community & Citizenship team to implement and organize community outreach programs and events.
- Assist in coordination and maintenance of department schedule for meetings, events and trade shows, and other obligations.
- Assist in creation of marketing materials for events (e.g., program information, leave behinds, and trifold).
- Assist in coordination and distribution of communications between local Community & Citizenship team, departments and project teams.
- Establish relationships across company functional areas to expand knowledge and build network of resources.
- Build knowledge of Turner organization, operations, and Community & Citizenship strategic pillars.
- Gain exposure and develop understanding of company initiatives (e.g., Right Environment, Lean, and Active Caring).
- Learn and use computer applications to populate and maintain event data in required platform.
- Maintain department files, correspondence, and historical data.
- Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
The salary range for this position is estimated to be $63,000 - $82,000 annualized. Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or higher from accredited degree program with related office and/or administrative experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience; recommended majors include, but not limited to Communications, Marketing, Advertising/PR, Sociology, Psychology, Education, or similar degree program
- Exhibit passion for community-based programs with current or past volunteerism, or other community experience
- Energetic, hands-on, team player, and continuous learner
- Approachable and professional attitude at all times
- Take direction and work collaboratively in team environment
- Active listening skills, responsive, and strong follow-up practices
- Good judgment to identify problems, escalate issues, and request prioritization of responsibilities
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive, resourceful, exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and timely documentation
- Familiar with Microsoft suite of applications, MS Outlook, data entry, and collaborative technology
