Job Summary

At Getty Digital, we're re-imagining how we can use data, software, and systems to provide a deeply linked and consistent experience for staff, scholars, researchers, and enthusiasts as they explore the rich and complex information held across the organization. This position plays a central role in this effort by managing large and complex technical projects to advance Getty's work. This is a three-year limited term position.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join the Portfolio Project Management Office (PPMO) team within Getty Digital for a limited term employment of three years. This position reports to the PPMO Manager and works closely with the Collections Platform Director and staff from across the organization, including other directors, product managers, engineers, and subject-matter experts to implement innovative solutions that address our user and business needs.

This position takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Two major areas of work will kick off the incumbent's project portfolio. The first is managing projects associated with Getty's Digital Preservation Initiative. The goal is to improve digital preservation activities and tooling across Getty. The second project is Getty Vocabularies Replacement. It replaces the current Getty Vocabularies interface, management layer, and contribution workflows with a modern, sustainable solution. These two projects represent critical capabilities that Getty provides in the arts and cultural heritage community worldwide.

Getty, is dedicated to furthering the study of the history of art, advancing conservation practice, and promoting public knowledge and appreciation of art. Our dynamic and beautiful campus is filled with art, archives and special collections, and a world-class research library. We offer four weeks of accrued vacation a year, every other Friday off, and excellent benefits. Learn more about our benefits.
