The Recruiter, Talent Acquisition will conduct full-cycle recruiting efforts for a variety of roles across Maritz, partnering closely with hiring managers and People & Development (P&D) to deliver effective, efficient hiring strategies. This role will focus on both active and passive candidate engagement, maintain a best-in-class candidate experience, and ensuring alignment with company hiring practices and goals.

Reporting and Working Relationships

  • Partners closely with P&D Business Partners, as well as other members of the P&D team. Interfaces with hiring managers and other internal clients, serving as the recruitment subject matter expert.

Primary Responsibilities

70% - Lead full-cycle recruitment for assigned requisitions, driving a seamless, thoughtful, and effective hiring experience from intake to onboarding.

  • Manage multiple requisitions, engaging in full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, driving a best-in-class recruitment experience for all hiring leaders and candidates.

  • Conduct in-depth intake meetings with hiring leaders to ensure alignment on the position, candidate profile, as well as establishing clarity on roles and responsibilities.

  • Conduct phone interviews with applicants to ensure candidates meet minimum qualifications and are an organizational fit for Maritz. Sets expectations on recruitment activity timelines.

  • Timely management of candidate workflows within Workday, ensuring accurate job postings, seamless offer processing, and coordination of background checks.

  • Generate a diverse candidate population using various methods including job boards (i.e. LinkedIn/Indeed), membership organizations, and personal networking.

  • Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience by maintaining clear, timely, and empathetic communication throughout the recruitment journey.

  • Communicates updates to internal clients, P&D team members, and any engaged vendors on an ongoing basis.

30% - Sourcing, TA Projects, and Vendor Support

  • Create sourcing initiatives aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting objectives.

  • Uses job boards and social media (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) to enhance candidate pipelines and support overall recruitment needs.

  • Contribute to ongoing enhancements in the Talent Acquisition process by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve candidate and hiring leader experiences, and support process consistency.

  • Participate in TA-related projects such as system upgrades, recruitment marketing initiatives, and/or hiring manager training.

  • Partner with recruitment vendors on an as needed basis.

  • Supporting of the Maritz Summer Intern Program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Experience working within an ATS, preferably Workday.

  • 2 years of professional services recruitment and staffing experience.

  • 1+ year of experience conducting Boolean searches for business related research or sourcing.

  • Ability to make an excellent first impression on applicants and "sell" Maritz to them.

  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, and ability to apply those skills successfully in interaction with many different personality types in varying environments.

  • Some technical recruiting experience preferred.
