Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.



Responsibilities

    Provide leadership, guidance, management and direction to the solution teams within the guidelines of corporate agreements and direction to secure success.
  • Lead Business Development, operations, production, customer relations and communications and coordination for the team, key partners, vendors or external support organizations for the solution and products areas of responsibility.
  • Coordinate and communicate with potential and current customers, build business cases, plan pipelines and validate as well as secure costs versus revenue calculations for use internal to the company.
  • Develop and execute capture plans/paths forward as well as define best return on investments for demonstrations, trade shows, customer meetings and other events that may promote and provide access to customer influence and possible procurement of services and products.
  • Coordinate and develop operational production and support requirements for potential products and services to include supporting RFP and pricing responses based on customer requests to include Quick Reaction capability (QRC) customer needs.
  • Coordinate, negotiate, develop and expand relationships and communicate with major subcontractors, teammates, partners, IP providers and customers as required and directed by the director.
  • Develop and execute approved investment plans for internal and externally funded research and development for products and services for current and future opportunities and expansion of product and services base line capabilities.


Qualifications

  • Over 20 years of demonstrated successful experience negotiating and securing partnership agreements with key providers of technology, capability and intellectual property for both US and International organizations, governments and/or companies in support of US Government needs and requirements
  • Over 20 years of demonstrated success in developing, capturing and executing multimillion dollar opportunities for US Government and International Government customers
  • Requires +20 years of experience working with the target customer community from operations, requirements development, customer and Congressional budgeting and acquisition official in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Requires working knowledge and understanding of the US Government's Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
  • Possess or can secure a Secret or higher security clearance
  • Available to travel internationally for business development, teaming discussions and provide services and support for extended periods of time CONUS and OCONUS
  • Possess a bachelor's degree


Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $193,600.00/Yr. - USD $323,400.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
