The Commercial Operations & Business Pricing Analyst Business will be responsible for analyzing and improving commercial operations processes, business reporting as well as developing, implementing and managing pricing strategies. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze current commercial operations processes and identify areas for improvement to give better commercial outputs and results visibility.
  • Identify technologies and build a Tech Stack to automate current manual processes.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the Commercial Sales Team across all Lines of Business (LOB's).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
  • Conduct internal and external market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing approaches.
  • Develop pricing models and strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze pricing performance and make recommendations for adjustments.
  • Manage the price increase implementation process.
  • Work with external vendors to implement CPQ software.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support and inform decision-making.
  • Own and deliver the monthly Commercial Flash.
  • Prepare and present reports on commercial operations based on key commercial metrics
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support SIOP decision-making. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into operational performance, forecast accuracy, and other key metrics.
  • Analyze and identify and pricing performance or deficiencies.
  • Establish what data visualization tools in Salesforce or PowerBI to communicate insights effectively.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, SIOP and finance, and product teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives
  • Provide analytical support for commercial initiatives and projects.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
What You'll Need
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, pricing strategy, or commercial operations.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Sales Operations experience.
  • Experienced in Salesforce analytics and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the building products industry is a plus.
Your Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field preferred
