Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable R&D Engineer Intern to join our team at La Jolla CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering (preferably biomedical or bioengineering), and possess excellent analytical thinking, multitasking, teamwork, and collaboration skills. The internship will have the chance to participate in projects with a team of mechanical, optical, electronic, and software engineers, as well as application scientists. In such projects, you will be working closely with project managers, product managers, manufacturing team, product support team, quality and technical support team to achieve project goal. This internship offers an opportunity to apply technical knowledge and gain hands-on experiences in drafting and reviewing engineering drawings, drafting and validating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and generating technical marketing and training contents for products including flow cytometry, real-time cell analysis systems, and instrument automation integration. Student pursuing a technical degree in a four-year degree program at a College/University in addition to gaining work experience at Agilent, in a position that is technical in nature. Length of work period is maximum of two to three months; no academic credit received. May return for a subsequent assignment. Key Responsibilities:
Interns are expected to work 40 hours/week throughout the summer. The intern pay rate for this position is $21.19 - $22.52/hour plus eligibility for paid holidays and medicalbenefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay isdetermined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevanteducation or training. During the hiring process, a recruiter can share more about the specific pay rangefor a preferred location. Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule.
