We're hiring an Entry-Level Service Technician in Des Moines, IA to provide on-site service and support to Hobart's valued customers.

Pay & Schedule

Hourly Rate: $21.70 - $29.30 (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift including on-call, after-hours, holiday, and weekend availability

What You'll Do

• Install and service basic mechanical commercial food equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment under service contracts or on a time-and-material basis
• Perform and document preventive maintenance services
• Follow standard safety protocols and company procedures
• Support company goals by delivering exceptional service and upholding customer satisfaction
• Maintain tools, company vehicles, and inventory responsibly
• Stay current on industry trends and equipment knowledge

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or GED
• 0-2 years of electrical or mechanical experience
• Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, electrical, and customer service skills
• A proactive attitude toward safety, quality, and continuous improvement
