A well-established local company is looking for a full-time Trailer Technician to bring skill, reliability, and hands-on expertise to our client's growing team. In this vital role, you'll inspect, maintain, and repair all makes and models of trailers-ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance every step of the way. From welding and brake jobs to alignments and DOT inspections, our client's experienced mechanics handle it all with pride and precision. Schedule: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday Pay Rate: $18 - $20/hr. (Based on experience) Key Responsibilities: Perform routine trailer inspections, maintenance, and repairs Diagnose issues and replace parts as needed Work in, on, and under trailers as part of daily operations Follow all safety protocols and OSHA/DOT/EPA guidelines Maintain clean workspaces and accurate safety documentation Use hand and power tools effectively and responsibly Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience - Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on trailer equipment Strong working knowledge of trailer systems A full set of personal hand tools (larger tools provided) Welding experience (Oxy/Acetylene, ARC, MIG) is a plus Basic computer literacy Previous or current ASE certifications preferred, but not required Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50lbs regularly (and occasionally over 75lbs) Comfortable with bending, squatting, climbing, and overhead work Stand and walk for extended periods both indoors and outdoors Our benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, 401k plans, weekly pay, referral bonus potential, employee discount programs, unmatched professional development, and more!
