Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is passionate about providing exceptional health care to all, especially underserved communities with limited health care options. FHCSD's Program for All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is designed to help our participants maintain a high standard of independent living. Our program provides a wide range of supportive services including outpatient care, meals catered to dietary needs, medical equipment, transportation, social services, and social activities. We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to help drive our locations as we expand in San Diego County. This crucial leadership position oversees PACE enrollment and marketing efforts. Our ideal future staff member will be a skilled communicator and compassionate mentor who facilitates collaborative relationships across FHCSD's interdisciplinary team (IDT).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with leadership to meet FHCSD growth goals
  • Coordinate all marketing, outreach, and community engagement activities
  • Travel between PACE sites and other locations as needed
  • Coordinate all intake and enrollment processes, including implementing process improvements to drive efficiency and conversion
  • Track, oversee, and report on team performance
  • Establish strategies and maintain relationships with referral sources
  • Maintain enrollment workflow, adhere to timelines, and ensure compliance with DHCS and CMS guidelines and policies
  • Collaborate with executive teams to report on key metrics and proactively address problems
  • Assist with developing policies, procedures, and standards for department activities
  • Communicate job expectations with employees to achieve results.
  • Provide performance supervision through coaching, counseling, mentoring, and disciplining.
  • Attend meetings and completes trainings before or by due date, as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Required: Relevant bachelor's degree in healthcare, marketing, or another related field.
  • 5 years of progressive in business or medical practice development
  • Experience working in a healthcare organization or agency that supports the geriatric population preferred
  • Knowledge of PACE marketing regulations (state and federal).
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Must have a car, a valid California driver's license, and proof of minimum levels of car insurance as required under California law, although limits of $100,000 are recommended. An acceptable driving record is also required. California law requires all drivers to obtain a valid California driver's license within ten days of establishing residency.

73,981.00 - 110,972.00

If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
