Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President to lead and grow our Distributed Energy Resources and Microgrid business unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the energy sector, with a proven track record of driving business growth, managing complex projects, and leading high-performing teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to navigate the evolving energy landscape and capitalize on emerging opportunities.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the DER and Microgrid business unit, aligning with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansion.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of DER and Microgrid projects, ensuring they meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the financial performance of the business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and internal resources.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to inform business strategy and operations.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and forums, positioning TRC's Advanced Energy as a thought leader in the DER and Microgrid space.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on distributed energy resources, microgrids, or related areas.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and growing business units.
  • Strong understanding of the technical, regulatory, and market dynamics of the DER and Microgrid industry.
  • Excellent strategic planning, project management, and financial management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and sustainability.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $222,810.00 - USD $250,016.00 /Yr.
