As one of six major research themes within UCLA Health, the goal of UCLA Health JCCC is to develop and foster visible concentrations of excellence in basic and interdisciplinary cancer research and patient care at UCLA. Reporting to the Executive Director of Development for the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation, and working closely with senior administration, the Development Coordinator UCLA Jonsson Cancer Foundation will provide direct administrative and clerical support for the day-to day operations of assigned programs and medical specialties and will be driven by the team's commitment to create lasting relationships with external partners and internal colleagues to meet their goals. As a Development Coordinator, you can build your career in fundraising through our UCLA Health Science Development (HSD) training, mentoring, and professional development programs. In this role, you will assume fundraising support responsibilities that include, but are not limited to: scheduling meetings, composing reports, gift acknowledgment letters, and maintaining accurate donor records across various databases. You will assist with cultivation and stewardship activities and will be responsible for the development and distribution of a variety of printed and digital materials and coordinating high-priority projects and events. As Development Coordinator you will interact with high-level donors, physicians, researchers, volunteers, and staff, requiring a person with a superb approach to customer service.
