  • Salary range 006: $97,700 - $122,100 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position).

What's involved in this role:

We are looking for a Senior Compensation Advisor in Eden Prairie, MN or Appleton, WI.

  • Provide and manage analysis of existing company compensation policies and their financial impact considering prevailing practices among competing organizations to recommend market competitive compensation programs and to improve the cost, service, value, and administrative performance of those programs, responsive to the organization's goals.
  • Administer the implementation of hourly and salary administration guidelines.
  • Implement new and revised compensation programs and procedures in order to be responsive to the company's goals.
  • Manage compensation processes (base, variable merit, promotions, etc.).
  • Prepare annual hourly and salary compensation budget with collaboration of Human Capital Leadership and Operations. Review market data, compensation trends, and potential additional equity increases.
  • Provide subject matter expertise; accurately interpreting, counseling, communicating, and educating the Human Capital Business Partner, business managers, and executives on pay decisions, policy/guideline interpretations, and position evaluations.
  • Support the Human Capital Operations team in determining prevailing hourly rates in competing organizations within the market to establish competitive rates designed to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and Human Capital functional leaders on recommendations for internal and external offers, to attract and retain highly sought-after talent, implementing compensation systems, tools, and processes.
  • Provide support in resolving matters related to compensation.
  • Make recommendations to management regarding individual and group compensation adjustments and approves merit increases permitted within budgetary limits and in accordance with current pay policies.
  • Perform job evaluations, conduct market surveys, collect and analyze market data, and maintain salary survey data related to both hourly and salaried compensation.
  • Develop and coordinate the ERP compensation module architecture, implementation, and administration.
  • Support and implement department reorganizations working with the Employee Service Center, Processing team, Technology Team for compensation changes, new job creation, and movement of employees to new supervisory organizations and positions.
  • Manage all job descriptions through the maintenance of Workday and Human Capital shared site.

What you need to join our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment; logistics experience preferred.

  • Strong decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); experience with logistics systems a plus.

  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.

  • Knowledge of basic math, documentation, and business correspondence.

  • Customer-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.

  • Accountability and reliability in achieving goals.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.

  • Proactive in professional development and embracing change.
