Job title: Service Network Engineer (On site)

Responsibilities:

• Perform IP address management (e.g., VLAN ACL) administration as per SOP defined.
• Implement, coordinate, and update current addressing schemes, including developing associated migration plans.
• Create IP configurations for new customer locations as per SOP and CAB process.
• Track static IP usage to ensure no IP duplication occurs.
• Manage DHCP scope on network devices.
• Maintain a library of IP addresses.

Network Managed Services:

• Support new and legacy network installations and upgrades including LAN, Firewall, WAN, Internet, Load Balancers, WLAN, and update impacted SOPs and relevant documentation.
• Perform health checks of all network devices on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Follow CUSTOMER Change Management process.
• Manage LAN/WAN/SDWAN/Wireless network equipment in scope for CUSTOMER.
• Break-fix of network devices will be part of scope and support activity.
• Perform LAN/WAN/Wireless management activities including configuration changes and alerts.
• Archive network device configuration changes in accordance with customer data retention policies while adhering to CUSTOMER's Change Management Process.
• Provide input to LAN/WAN/SDWAN network engineering/design teams as required.
• Perform regular network health checks including device configuration review and gap analysis.
• Deploy approved software upgrades and patches into the production environment.
• Network traffic monitoring, including alert management.
• Set up/configure new third-party VPN setups.
• Enhance firewall policies.
• Maintain OS levels per industry standards - one version in network equipment.
• Support and manage ISE/VPN services.
• Keep site network diagram updates.
• Develop global network topology diagram and keep it updated.
• Monitor network circuits and manage third-party suppliers for circuit resolution.
• Manage and support wireless technologies including Cisco wireless technology, LAN controllers, Cisco Prime, and Cisco Client and Access Points.
• Implement new changes on firewall and load balancers.
• Upgrade firewall and load balancers to the latest available approved software.
• Inventory management, keep updated inventory information available to CUSTOMER SME.
• Support migration/scheduled activities on weekends.
• Support new site build-up (configuration, upgrade, and implementation of new devices from scratch).

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until May 1st, 2025.

The base annual salary for this position is between $73,350 to $133,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
