Overview

Disaster Recovery is a global division within Deutsche Bank's Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) office that manages the disaster recovery exercises for all the Bank's Data Centres globally.

The primary responsibility of the DR team is to manage and govern the DR exercises in all data centres globally and ensuring that all applications meet the requirements specified in the DR standards of the Bank.

You will be a Disaster Recovery Manager who will manage and co-ordinate all Disaster Recovery test activities, adhering to the standards and procedures of the Bank.

You will be based in Jacksonville, US, working in collaboration with colleagues in India, Singapore, US, UK and Germany.

What You'll Do

  • Support multiple, concurrent DR tests globally during planning and execution (performed during weekends), Create and update DR test trackers as per the DR calendar

  • Send Kick-off emails for all DR tests in the specified lead time before each DR test, weekly and monthly follow up reminders and escalation emails to stakeholders

  • Host meetings and follow-up with stakeholders on the timely provision of DR deliverables:Exclusion forms, DR Test plans, Business test scripts, List of User testers and Test evidence, Collaborate with infrastructure and support teams in the planning of DR tests

  • Compile the DR weekend issues and follow-up on issue resolution

  • Provide support during the DR test execution weekends including ensuring application and infrastructure teams follow the pre-defined test timeline, address any issues and escalate as necessary

  • Perform User acceptance test for the Bank's DR tool, and active participate in all required DR planning and operational meetings

Skills You'll Need

  • Experience working in an Information Technology (IT) environment, preferably in a banking environment

  • Experience in an operations role and the production of reports for management

  • Experience or exposure to Disaster Recovery and/or Risk and Control functions

  • Ability to conduct training and provide support for stakeholders on processes and tools

  • Organization skills to track and follow-up on DR Test compliance of applications (retest, individual application tests, vendor applications and other test categories to be added)

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is$60,000 to $86,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
