Overview

The Compensation Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our organization's compensation programs, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with our goals and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of compensation practices and trends within the health care industry, as well as the ability to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations.
Qualifications

Certifications:

  • Certified Compensation Professional, CCP or similar (preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Finance or
  • Bachelor's Degree: Human Resources or
  • Bachelor's Degree: Related Field or
  • Bachelor's Degree: Business Administration

Work Experience:

  • Healthcare Leadership or Compensation Management (Human Resource Preferred) - 3 years

Specialized Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in compensation software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive compensation strategy
  • Aligns with organizational goals, industry benchmarks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular market analysis
  • Ensure competitive compensation practices
  • Design, develop, and manage compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and pay practices.
  • Recommends adjustments based on industry trends.
  • Maintain and analyze compensation data
  • Ensures accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analytics.
  • Communicate compensation policies and changes to employees effectively
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation, including federal, state, and local laws.
  • Provides education and support as needed.
  • Manage compensation budgets and forecast compensation expenses
  • Ensure financial sustainability.
  • Prepare and present reports on compensation metrics, trends, and insights to senior management.
  • Work closely with HR, payroll, and other departments
  • Ensure cohesive and integrated compensation practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $50.86per hour - $87.48per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
