Responsibilities

Job Summary
The MS365 Portfolio Manager develops and strategically manages the M365 service portfolio. This role ensures the proper implementation of major M365 changes and oversee onboarding and implementation of new products and services needed\requested. They evaluate product solutions for the business while collaborating with various teams to meet business requirements. This role is a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft specialist with a progressive technical background. They will ensure alignment with business objectives while driving adoption across the enterprise. Will work with the Enterprise Architect team for optimization of Microsoft 365 tools with an initial focus on Azure, M365 Chat\ChatGPT, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive strategies. This role involves consulting with the business and supporting the technical team while monitoring onboarding activities of the portfolio. They will be collaborating with various stakeholders (IT, Business & End-User) to understand their functional requirements to determine the appropriate fit of tools.
  • Will be responsible for driving strategic M365 initiatives that impact multiple teams and stakeholders across the organization
    Responsible for the design & management of the M365 Product roadmap
    Highly collaborative role that requires working across business, IT Architect and engineering teams to build and maintain complex strategies inside the M365 platform
    Works with the Enterprise Architecture and Security generating standard operations policies procedures and work instructions (SOP's), auditing requirements and Disaster Recovery plans within the M365 Platform
  • Collaborates with IT Security team to develop governance frameworks for data, access and collaboration within Azure, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive to ensure compliance with security standards and organizational policies.
    Help define team objectives and outcomes with the Director of Enterprise Architect
    Help the technical team & business adapt and learn to new Microsoft products
    Oversees the integration of Microsoft 365 tools with existing IT infrastructure
    Focus on creating an optimal user experience within Microsoft 365 applications by developing and implementing strategies to promote the adoption of Microsoft 365 tools across the organization.
  • Communicates effectively with key stakeholders regarding the delivery of excellent service-oriented support.
    Oversees the M365 team to ensure upgrades, changes and enhancements we leverage remains secure and efficient for usage.
    Maintains a climate of continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities for service improvement and internal efficiencies.
  • Actively participates in management team discussion; provide vision and feedback; contribute to the development of a world class IT Operations capability.

Qualifications

Experience
10 years Experience championing Microsoft 365 Infrastructure & Applications best practices across an enterprise organization including developing strategies for Azure, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive and others as needed.
Strong understanding of governance, security, and policy development within the Microsoft 365 environment.
