Apr 25, 2025
For over four decades, Cirrus Logic has been propelled by the top engineers in mixed-signal processing. Our rockstar team thrives on solving complex challenges with innovative end-user solutions for the world's top consumer brands. Cirrus Logic is also known for its award-winning culture, which was built on a foundation of inclusion and fairness, meaningful community engagement, and delivering enjoyable employee experiences at every turn. But we couldn't do it without our extraordinary workforce - and that's where you come in. Join our team and help us continue to make Cirrus Logic an exceptional place to grow your career!
As our R&D organization grows, we're investing in the systems and infrastructure that will allow us to scale with consistency, quality, and speed. One of the most foundational elements of that strategy is our analog and mixed-signal IP catalog - and we're looking for an experienced engineer to take ownership of it.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys applying their design expertise toward process improvement, IP reuse, and long-term efficiency. You'll work closely with teams across the company to bring clarity, structure, and high standards to how we manage our IP - and help shape the foundation for how we design at scale.
We're looking for a persuasive and thoughtful leader who's comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking good questions, and turning messy legacy data into something both practical and powerful.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Head IP Librarian for the US
  • IP Catalog methodology owner, along with UK partner
  • Manage IP catalog developers as team lead (dotted line reporting)
  • Develop systems for IP health auditing
  • Outline and lead efforts to increase completeness of per-IP information in IP catalog
  • Will be involved in the planning process for upcoming IP work.
  • Contribute to IP roadmaps by making sure the view of "what we have" is accurate, and complete
  • Maintain a list of pending IP work that can be serviced based on design teams availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • MSEE with 7+years or PhD with 5+ years, or BSEE with 10+ years of proven IC development experience
  • Firsthand experience with CMOS analog design and layout
  • Organized and detailed with strong communication skills
  • Possess proactive negotiation skills
  • Results-oriented and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Experience mentoring or managing engineers
