The Warehouse Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of workers concerned with warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, storing, and maintaining inventories, warehouse supplies, equipment, and parts. This position performs the following duties personally or through subordinates. Responsibilities:
- Coordinates warehouse activities with other operational departments including; production, packing, quality, sanitation, maintenance and sales.
- Uses the warehouse management software to assist in the management of inventory to ensure proper stock rotation.
- Researches receipt and flow of raw materials & finished goods within bakery to support company quality standards and bakery requirements.
- Supervises employees on methods of use of equipment in handling; storing; maintaining and shipping stock; and related problems.
- Monitors records and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess stock.
- Reviews records for accuracy of information, compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of inventory levels. Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records, and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Monitors cycle count program adherence, work orders, and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and issue work assignments.
- Assist with monitoring standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, shipping, or salvaging products or materials.
- Prepares or directs preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations, maintenance, and safety manuals associated with the inventory of warehouse.
- Supports and analyzes Operational KPI's, reports, develops and recommends solutions to ensure warehouse objectives are achieved.
- Determines work procedures for warehouse operators. Prepares weekly work schedules and expedites workflow.
- Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards. Ensures compliance with quality assurance, GMPs, safety and other company programs and procedures.
- Ensures warehouse is organized and maintained at a high level of sanitation in conjunction with cleanliness and an organized work area.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs of warehouse and freezers to ensure inventory levels are properly maintained, temperature checks are logged and cleanliness standards are adhered to.
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
- Resolves employee issues or submits unsettled issues to the Human Resources Department for action.
- Interviews, selects, coaches, and trains warehouse department.
- Works to maintain and improve on the quality, legality and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufacture. Responsible for keeping assigned work area clean and tidy at all times and reporting any potential contamination and suspicious activity immediately.
- Completes duties, and ensures that subordinates complete their duties, in accordance with quality assurance, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety and other company programs and procedures, and in accordance with government codes and regulations.
- Participates as an active member of production management team.Through Aspire AOE training understands and uses Centerline and CIL daily management systems
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving process
- Supervisory Responsibilities- Directly supervises up to 25 employees in the Warehouse and Inventory Departments. Provides the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Commitment to Operational Success: Maintains a flexible schedule, working beyond standard business hours as needed to ensure production lines run smoothly, shift transitions are seamless, and all necessary administrative tasks are completed before leaving for the day.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Exposure in frozen food 24/7 warehousing or manufacturing environment.
- 2-5 years of experience in warehousing and distribution.
- SAP literacy in food manufacturing.
- Knowledgeable of regulatory requirements in frozen distribution environment.
- Computer literacy to include all MS office products.
- Supervisory and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with many departments and management levels.
- Must work in a freezer environment of -10 degrees.
- Must work flexible hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Forklift certification required.
