Bio-Rad is looking for an SAP S/4 TM (Transportation Management) Architect to support its global organization. This position will work with Bio-Rad colleagues and consulting team worldwide to design, configure, document, and implement the SAP S/4 TM solutions to meet business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 TM and related modules, including Logistics Business Network (LBN), p44 and Event Management (EM). You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting transportation management solutions to optimize our supply chain processes.

How You'll Make An Impact:




  • Implementation & Configuration:

    • Design, configure, and implement SAP S/4 TM solutions to meet business requirements.
    • Integrate SAP S/4 TM with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, EWM, LBN) and third-party systems (eg. 3PLs).
    • Collaborate with Stakeholders, Global Process Owners, and business process teams to ensure right solution is designed and deployed.
    • Own the Enterprise Application solution template and design for their functional area, and drive the solution roadmap within the business.
    • Advise and define the architecture approach for projects that guide project activities toward desired Architecture model.
    • Design and develop prototypes, proofs of concept, pilots and solutions to validate architectural assumptions and assess technology options.



  • Logistics Business Network (LBN):

    • Implement and manage SAP LBN for enhanced logistics collaboration.
    • Ensure effective integration and communication between LBN and SAP TM.



  • Event Management (EM):

    • Configure and manage SAP Event Management (EM) for tracking and monitoring logistics events.
    • Develop event handlers and event messages to support end-to-end visibility.



  • Process Optimization:

    • Analyze transportation and logistics processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.



  • Support & Maintenance:

    • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP TM, LBN, and EM.
    • Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.



  • Training & Documentation:

    • Develop and deliver training materials for end-users and key stakeholders.
    • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
    • Mentor and train the internal teams on design and architecture best practices



  • Project Management:

    • Lead and participate in project teams for SAP TM implementations and upgrades.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.




What You Bring:



  • Education:
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4 Transportation Management.
    • Have an experience of minimum one end to end implementation of SAP S/4 TM
    • Knowledge of SAP LBN, p44 and SAP EM.
    • Experience working with carriers to onboard them onto LBN and integrating all functionalities with TMS through LBN.



  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in SAP TM configuration and customization.
    • Strong understanding of integration points between SAP TM, LBN, and EM.
    • Knowledge of SAP ECC and EWM is a plus.
    • Knowledge of AI experience is a plus



  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Project management skills and experience.



  • Certifications:

    • SAP TM certification is preferred.
    • Additional certifications in SAP LBN and EM are a plus.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $129,300 to $193,900 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
