I am working with a client in Dallas that is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. This role involves managing and securing our company's computer networks, including both wired and wireless systems. Key responsibilities include:.
* Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, wireless).
* Providing advanced technical support and guiding junior engineers.
* Implementing network security measures (firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
* Integrating networks of acquired companies.
* Monitoring and optimizing network performance.
* Managing multiple projects and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
Required Skills:
* 10+ years of experience in network engineering, especially with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst routers, and Fortinet firewalls.
* Preferred certifications: CCNE, CCNA, or CCNP.
* Strong knowledge of routing protocols and network security.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with SolarWinds, Fortinet, Ruckus Wireless, Cisco ISE, SDWAN, Azure Networking, and VPN technologies.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Extensive experience in network engineering and security technologies.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Estimated Min Rate: $130000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $135000.00
