Job Summary

The Infrastructure Administrator III with a network focus supports networking and telecommunication systems through design, implementation, testing, and maintenance including for LANs, WANs, network segments, and internet and intranet systems. This role is also responsible for monitoring performance, ensuring security and availability, and analyzing and isolating issues and trends to determine solutions. The desirable candidate is a professional with a customer service focus, organized, works with a sense of urgency, and communicates clearly and effectively both with customers and co-workers. This position is located in Tulsa, OK and is required to work in the office at least 3 days per week.


Essential Functions

  • Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."
  • Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics."
  • Responds to assigned Service Desk work orders within established guidelines.
  • Serves as the escalation point for the Infrastructure Administrator team.
  • Provides tier 3 support; gathers business assessment information and provides troubleshooting such as for switch and router issues, firewall configuration service outages; and work order routing and escalation to Level 4 support. May also escalate to an outside vendor as needed.
  • Maintains all network devices, including scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing network outages, performance issues and equipment failure.
  • Monitors network functions and suggests necessary improvements for both virtual and physical devices.
  • Configures and maintains network alerts in the company infrastructure monitoring and management platform.
  • Maintains network security and secure data access to assure only authorized access and reports any security breaches to the IT Management Team.
  • Assists in the planning and estimating of projects including cost, scheduling, and resource requirements.
  • Utilizes an advanced understanding of the technical needs of our customers to articulate their business needs and provide solution resolutions.
  • Establishes and maintains healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
  • Travels to job sites and office locations as required or assigned, up to 15-20% of the time.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in LAN/WAN infrastructure, TCP/IP network configuration and network administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent job-related experience/knowledge.
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of switches and networking.
  • Experience administrating Aruba Networks wireless, gateways, and switches is preferred.
  • Experience with Aruba ClearPass is a plus.
  • Experience with Checkpoint Firewall is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
  • Experience with both physical and virtual network environments is preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation with problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information in a discreet manner.
