DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will maintain electrical equipment, repair appliances, and install electrical panels on the 254-acre Selinsgrove Center campus that includes 46 buildings. You will lay out and install all primary and secondary wiring, assist the medium voltage electrician with distribution and switchgear equipment, and install switches, lights, electrical controls and associated equipment. You will also install and repair domestic and commercial kitchen stoves, toasters, mixers, washers, and dryers. This role requires applying sound electrical knowledge to ensure timely completion of assignments and compliance with building codes and regulations. In addition, you will maintain emergency generators and emergency lighting systems, install wire mold and conduit for phone and cable service, and assist other departments as needed. - Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirements:
- You must be in possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver's license.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
