Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. has an immediate need for a Project Technician to support the Industrial Wastewater Services in our Plainville, Connecticut Office.
We are looking for someone that has a background in wastewater treatment system operation, preventative maintenance, repair, and supervision. In this position, you will be responsible for the organization, planning, and procurement as necessary for a series of ongoing projects including: staffing/scheduling, gathering materials/equipment/work plans for specific projects, execution of projects with a crew, and client coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Schedules project labor
  • Develops work plans with Technical Associate
  • Develops SOPs with Technical Associate
  • Responsible for assigned milestones of projects
  • Prepares and provides project field equipment
  • Procurement of project materials / equipment
  • Preparation of proposals for review
  • Communication of scope and objectives to task/project leads
  • Preparation of project deliverables for review
  • Serves as secondary point of contact with the client
  • Commitment to PLMS and reinforces with staff
Knowledge and Experience
  • 7+ years' experience in wastewater treatment system operation, preventative maintenance, repair, and supervision
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Strong leadership/organizational skills to keep the project on schedule and on track
  • Ability to quickly learn company's various policies, procedures, and software programs
  • Identify and resolve problems as they arise.
  • Ability to look at and understand plans and specifications for the project.
  • Responsible for looking at issues from various different angles and render good judgement.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, walking, hiking, and standing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
  • Mobility control of hands to setup equipment and operate tools.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA without Sponsorship.
