The Digital Platforms & Asset Models Manager is responsible for the development, and optimization of digital platforms and asset models, IoT Connectivity, cybersecurity measures and cloud infrastructure that support digital service offerings. This role ensures that the portfolio of digital services are delivered through a coherent digital platform that enables seamless data integration, analytics, and asset performance management, driving operational efficiency and customer value. Reporting to the Digital Service Manager, this position collaborates with R&D, other digital service strategy and product managers, and Service Operations to develop scalable, secure, and innovative digital ecosystems. The manager plays a key role in ensuring alignment between technology capabilities, service requirements, and business objectives, facilitating the evolution of digital asset models to enhance service intelligence and automation. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Responsibilities:
- Product management of existing service SW platforms and resulting roadmaps and migration/evolution planning.
- Definition and management of a new digital services platform, with the integration and management of IoT-enabled assets, ensuring seamless connectivity and real-time data processing
- Oversee the IoT strategy and implementation, ensuring seamless connectivity and real-time data processing.
- Work closely with IT and R&D to integrate emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, cloud computing, and digital twins into service solutions.
- Drive cybersecurity governance, ensuring that our platforms and services are secure, compliant, and resilient.
- Lead the adoption and optimization of cloud infrastructure, making sure our digital services are scalable, efficient, and cost-effective.
- Develop and enhance digital asset models, helping enable predictive maintenance, remote monitoring, and AI-driven analytics.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Platform Development & Integration: Oversee the development and continuous improvement of digital platforms to enable real-time data processing and asset intelligence.
- Partner with Technology and R&D team, Digital Devices Managers and Service Operations to ensure digital platforms, IoT solutions, and cloud systems meet service requirements and enhance customer experience.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Establish KPIs for digital platform performance, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Standardization & Best Practices: Implement best practices for digital platform management, ensuring seamless interoperability across services.
Financial & Business Responsibilities:
- Investment Prioritization: Support budgeting and resource allocation for digital platform enhancements and asset model innovation.
- Cost Efficiency: Drive cost optimization strategies, ensuring that digital platforms are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals.
Collaboration & Governance:
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with Technology, R&D, Digital Devices Managers, and Product Care Management (lifecycle) to ensure alignment between digital platform capabilities and service needs.
- Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that digital platforms and asset models comply with data protection regulations, industry standards, and corporate policies.
