Summary:

Goldbelt Apex, LLC is seeking a Field Communications Instructor.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Serves as subject matter expert and primary instructor for all field communications devices (internal and external) within the Role 2 and Role 3 medical units.
  • Serves as the primary instructor for SINCGARS and Harris Radio courses.
  • Serves as the primary instructor for Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) course.
  • Serves as a primary instructor for core DEPMEDS courses.
  • Serves as an assistant instructor/trainer for Site Organic Driver's Training courses.
  • Serves as a primary instructor/trainer for Operational Health Information Technologies (OHIT) systems administrator level courses.
  • Serves as sub hand receipt holder and is responsible for RTS-MED site field communication training equipment.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proven experience collaborating with a team.
  • Shall have management experience in developing training or mobilization plans.
  • Shall have experience with the military training concepts and organizational structure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum four (4) years of recent experience with the military as a Commissioned or Non-Commissioned Officer (E-5 or above)
  • Recent experience as a 25 series MOS in the Army or equivalent in sister services
  • Shall Possess or obtain Comp TIA A+ certification within 180 days of hire and Comp TIA Network+ certification within 1 year of hire
  • Shall obtain rough terrain forklift license within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
