Overview
SEG supports the US Navy and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) by performing trade studies, design prototyping, and analysis of radars, EO/IR sensors, seeker systems, electronic warfare systems, and weapon systems. We are seeking an experienced radar systems modeling engineer to lead the development and execution of a technical roadmap to integrate existing simulations, add new capabilities, and deliver the simulations to both support internal analysis and as inclusion in deliverable simulations to our government customers and end-users. The engineer will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, leading a team of engineers and software developers to design and develop simulation solutions, and demonstrating the capability to customers and stakeholders. The candidate must be a US citizen and have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance Responsibilities The engineer will be expected to prioritize new simulation tool capabilities while maintaining existing ones. The engineer should not only task the team but be able to participate in the design and development of the product as a key team member. The ideal candidate has 15 to 20 years of radar systems engineering experience, including radar system modeling and simulation, design, test, and analysis. |
