Academic Program Manager MED-CORE-GAST-GEN Full Time 84724BR Job Summary Oversees finance, human resources, and other operational activities for a small to mid-sized academic or research program, including major program components. Develops and organizes conferences and public forums. Works under the direction of the Principal Investigator or senior Academic Program Officer to establish the center's agenda, funding strategies, and objectives. Leads the coordination of hepatology-focused digital platforms while integrating clinical research management and nutritional science to support patient education, research dissemination, and stakeholder collaboration. This role requires a strong scientific background with expertise in hepatology, clinical research, nutritional science, and project management. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $93,600 - $140,400 (Annual Rate). The division has a longstanding reputation for excellence in hepatology research and has a growing investigative program in luminal gastroenterology. Faculty in the Division of Gastroenterology contribute to discovery in several areas, ranging from the identification of basic mechanisms of GI disease, to the improvement of outcomes following liver transplantation, to the optimization of GI care in resource-poor settings. The division also provides comprehensive training in GI research through its postdoctoral programs. Required Qualifications
