Location: Omaha, NE
Workplace: Onsite (50% hybrid - 1st month on-site) Duration: 12+ months Targeted Start Date: May 29, 2025 Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business/product analysts, software development teams, and individual business units. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in understanding how requests will affect business processes and applications, ensuring efficient and effective communication and collaboration. Key Responsibilities: * Participate and collaborate on an Agile development team * Understand the overall business flow by working with Product Owners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and business teams regularly * Define improvements to business processes and products * Assist decision-makers in gathering information to make informed decisions * Collaborate with Product Owners and Quality Assurance (QA) to identify and write detailed requirements of test cases, creating and maintaining business and product artifacts Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent * Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) * Understanding of insurance coverages, rating schemes, and insurance products Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of property casualty rating and policy coverages and endorsements * Experience with business analysis or project management * Experience working in application lifecycle management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, or Rally * SQL knowledge * Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization and individuals outside of the organization, including vendors Top Skills/Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree * Strong business analysis skills: great communicator, excellent at stakeholder management, proactive, coachable, and eager to learn * Experience with cloud technologies, ideally Azure Work Environment: * Reporting Structure: Role will report to the Business Development Director. * Flexible work/life balance: Flexible hours, casual dress, cube-like environment with standing desks. * Technology Investment: The company has invested in technology, ensuring a majority of the environment has been upgraded in recent years. * Employee Benefits: Opportunity for raises twice a year, educational assistance program, on-site fitness facility. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $7.25 - $7.26/hr.
