LOCATION OF (1) POSITION(S) TO BE FILLED: DEPARTMENT OF DISABILITY AND AGING (DDA), ADMINISTRATION DIVISION, RUTHERFORD COUNTY Qualifications Education and Experience: Licensed Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor, Behavior Analyst, Professional Counselor, Therapist, Psychologist, or Social Worker; AND Master's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Social science, human science, education, psychology, health science, or behavior science; AND two years of leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting. License must be maintained until Systemic Therapeutic Assessment Resources and Treatment (START) certification is obtained. Substitution of Education for Experience: Additional graduate coursework in special education, rehabilitation or therapeutic health, nursing, sociology, social work, or any behavior science field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of one year. OR Master's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Social science, human science, education, psychology, health science, or behavior science; AND five years of clinical experience in the Mental Health or Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities field, two years of which must be in a leadership or supervisory role. OR START Certified AND a master's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Social science, human science, education, psychology, health science, or behavior science AND two years of leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting. START Certification must be maintained for the duration of employment. OR START Certified AND a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Social science, human science, education, psychology, health science, or behavior science AND five years of START experience. START Certification must be maintained for the duration of employment. Necessary Special Qualifications:
Overview Summary: Under direction, is responsible for management and supervision of a team of Assessment and Stabilization Facilitators within assigned region; and performs related work as required. Distinguishing Features: An employee in this class is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Assessment & Stabilization Facilitators who perform a variety of consultative, intervention, and assessment work for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. An employee in this class will evaluate regional program data and assist internal leadership with program decisions. This class differs from the Assessment and Stabilization Facilitator in that the latter performs routine consultation, intervention, and assessment work. An employee in this class is assigned to a 24/7, on-call rotating schedule that includes consultation and intervention when needed. This class differs from the Assessment and Stabilization Clinical Director in that the latter functions in a more administrative capacity. Responsibilities
