Job Description:

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist responsible for performing Human Resources related duties. The HR role includes the following functional areas: benefits plan administration, company policy direction and employment law compliance. This position will manage employeebenefitprograms, to include health and welfare plans, well-being programs, and leave policies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support full life cycle processes including but not limited to employee benefit enrollments and open enrollment periods and manage benefits records and communication to inform employees of any benefits changes.
  • Field phone call and email inquiries for employee benefit questions and needs.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and manage onboarding paperwork.
  • Maintain HRIS records and assemble reports from the database.
  • Assist with affirmative action program; EEO-1 reporting; VETS-4212 and other compliance needs.
  • Monitor and manage annual compliance training requirements.
  • Manage employee morale programs.
  • Manage employment verification and OPM request for information.
  • Manage Employee Referral program(s).
  • Coordinate with payroll for new hire, change and exiting employee paperwork.

Here's what you need:

  • 4-7 years of HR generalist experience.
  • Experience in full life cycle benefits administration.
  • General knowledge of federal and state employment laws and practices.
  • Knowledgeable about employee benefits and the various laws and regulations which apply to them.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office Suite in a Microsoft Windows environment, including strong experience with Excel.
  • Experience in record retention and compliance.
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Security Clearance:

Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred

Work Schedule:

Hybrid; able to work onsite 5 days per week for first 90 days, after 90 days we will evaluate for consideration towards 4 days onsite 1-day remote working schedule.
