Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) is seeking a Network Administrator to ensure the effective operation of the organization's network devices. This individual will lead all network management tasks, Cisco VOIP phone system, oversee network security, and manage vendor partnerships to maintain high-quality, secure, and efficient IT operations.

Responsibilities for Network Administrator:

  • Lead and oversee networks, including setup and programming of switches, routers, firewalls, virtual environments, and security.
  • Administer and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and enterprise security protocols.
  • Manage IT vendors and contractors for network and applicable security services.
  • Plan and implement IT projects, including network upgrades, patching, cybersecurity initiatives, and network expansions.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and data backup strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with network security standards and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with the Senior Systems Administrator on companywide projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT infrastructure with organizational goals.

Requirements for Network Administrator:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Operations, a related field or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years).
  • Proven experience in network administration, cybersecurity, and IT project management.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, VMware, Cisco routers, switches, and data networking.
  • Strong leadership and vendor management skills.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be on-call for IT emergencies.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle, and insurable driving record.
