Base Compensation Range: $22/hr

This position is eligible for an annual 10% bonus opportunity in addition to the base salary

Sterilization and Disinfection Control division manufactures and sells biological and chemical indicators that assess the effectiveness of sterilization and disinfection processes for pharmaceutical, healthcare, and dental industries.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for production of culture media, processing of labware, provide support services to the Laboratory Analysts and Machine Operators. All work must be performed using company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) following GMP and industry standards and protocols.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Core duties and responsibilities include the following.
• Model personal Lean Philosophy 5S behaviors in creating a continuously improving, clean, well-organized and self-maintaining work environment. Work closely with team members and others to motivate and improve 5S knowledge and implementation.
• Follow a continuous improvement approach for team accountability for achieving high performance SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & Morale) targets through a visual work environment.
• Complies with company ethics, code of conduct, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to safety in the workplace, valuing of diversity, and promotion of a harassment-free environment.
• Aseptically manufacture and sterilize growth media in accordance with production needs.
• Adherence to SOPs and participation in modification of SOPs to maintain compliance to standards.
• Operation of sterilizers and labware washers.
• Excellent practice of aseptic technique.
• Meet good documentation practices per the quality system.
• Comply with safety and lab cleanliness standards.
• Timely delivery of materials and reagents to meet inventory stocking levels.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Federal Drug Administration (FDA) regulated industry preferred Strong knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Basic arithmetic skills.

Computer Skills:

• Intermediate computer skills and knowledge working with Microsoft Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
