Job Title: Quality Inspector/ Quality Receiving Inspector Location with zip code: Medley, FL 33178 Pay Rate: $20.00/hr. to $22.00/hr. Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night: 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM Shift Hours (8 Hours/ 10 Hours): 40hrs/week Duration: 12 + months - Overtime: If business needs require it, it will be mandatory and would be on Saturday mornings (6am-noon) Role & Responsibilities: Perform detailed product inspections on in-process and finished goods, including but not limited to First Article Inspections. Document characteristics of products accurately and with technical detail. Initiate Quality Notifications for any non-conforming products. Apply quality assurance procedures and requirements to the inspection of hardware and to document reviews. Identify any potential quality issues early and help to prevent their occurrence. Communicate effectively to other Aerospace personnel any quality issues needing resolution. Visually and dimensionally perform detailed inspection of individual parts to First Article Inspections and drawing BOM Communicate inspection findings to the mission systems team (onsite in CoS) and interior quality management Interpret blueprints, visual specifications, coating specifications, and other inspection documents Use caliper's and micrometer and other testing equipment Relate inspection findings on actual components to blueprint requirements and specification requirements Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with 2 years of relevant experience Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder Ability to pass color/vision test Must have basic computer skills including the ability to use operating software including SAP Must be able to use precision measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers. Preferred Qualifications: Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages. Experience performing detailed product inspections using blueprints and specifications. The ability to utilize computer systems including input of data and retrieval of information for inspections and configuration purposes. The ability to review documents and to identify and resolve any errors or missing information.
