Are you passionate about maritime engineering and eager to dive into real-world applications? Look no further! Foss Maritime is offering an exceptional opportunity for aspiring marine engineers to join us as a summer intern.

The Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience by assisting the Technical Engineering Team with daily activities to ensure and reliable design documentation for all Foss Maritime projects.

This is a Summer 2025 internship.

Responsibilities:

• Develop stability and structural calculations mentored by experienced naval architects
• Complete AutoCAD drafting
• Help develop and revising vessel technical drawings
• Assist the engineering team's user documentation process
• Create weight and moment calculations
• Preferred Skills:
• Engineering design process
• 3D modeling

Education:

• Must be currently attending a 4-year university with degree in an engineering field.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed primarily in an office environment with potential for visits to shipyards, and vessels.
