Description

Provides support to the Trust Officers & Financial Advisors in the process of opening and closing of accounts, making account distributions and trade settlements, in addition to servicing the client base in accordance with bank policy and procedures. Responsible for posting Income collection of payments received by mail and direct deposit

PROVIDE ENHANCED CLIENT SERVICE

Coordinates the processing of payments and bills between trust administrators and clients. Monitors and updates client account contribution and distribution requests on behalf of account managers. Assists other operational professionals in the processing new and closing accounts. Works with CNB stockholders to process updates or transactions with their CNB stock accounts.

FOSTER OUR CULTURE

Prepares and tracks documents for all types of accounts and account activity. Utilizes professional communication skills when working both with co-workers and clients. Employs new and more efficient methods to process transactions on accounts for customers in the most resourceful way possible.

PROMOTE DIGITAL AWARENESS

Possesses and displays a positive approach in managing and embracing change. Continually evaluates processes and procedures to effectively use technology for efficiencies and accuracy.

FOCUS ON ACCURACY AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Organizes scheduled and non-scheduled account transactions and maintains listings of taxes and invoices to be paid on behalf of clients. Balances in house accounts maintain our commitment to accurate reporting. Monitors loan payments and past due notifications, and coordinates payments with customers and account administrators. Ensures that new clients are provided with the most up to date documentation required by regulatory and audit agencies.

SEEK PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Takes advantage of relevant training and learning opportunities to further increase product knowledge. Looks for opportunities to improve upon processes and procedures. Stays up to date on current retirement account and investment account regulations and audit practices. Voluntarily participates in elective courses, webinars, and other online learning.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. A BS in Business Administration or similar education preferred. Minimum of 1 year of financial services or related experience (3 years' experience preferred) A background screening will be conducted.   • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.
  • TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to use telephone systems and possess good computer skills including email, internet and intranet use. Prior experience or the ability to learn word processing and office related software, core deposit and trust accounting system, and any other computer programs for job function.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
