In this role, the qualified individual will be a key member of the Meat, Poultry and Seafood commercial team in North America. This is a unique opportunity to build your career in sales and account management by working with both a defined territory of focus accounts and larger corporate accounts. You will be responsible for nurturing relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering value-driven solutions that align with our customers' business goals. This role reports directly to the Industry Team Leader for the Meat, Poultry and Seafood team in North America.

Responsibilities:
Territory Management
  • Manage a portfolio of high and medium focus accounts within an assigned geographic region.
  • Drive new business growth by identifying and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Conduct regular sales calls to meet the standards for effective coverage
  • Collaborate and align the territory business plan with the internal selling team resources.
  • Conduct regular sales funnel reviews, and overall territory opportunities analysis with internal selling team resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and market conditions to effectively position our solutions.
Corporate Account Management
  • Support and help manage relationships with strategic corporate accounts.
  • Develop the account plan by aligning with the customers' strategic goals and priorities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all corporate account stakeholders, including key decision makers across departments: engineering, maintenance, quality, operations and procurement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (customer service, new product development, technology platforms, marketing) to align with the customers' goals and develop level 4 partnerships.
  • Continuously analyze and define areas for development to deliver more value and strengthen our position at the account.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, or similar degree
  • 5+ years in B2B sales, sales support, or strategic account management
  • Proven track record in excellent territory account management
  • Proven experience in working with a team to deliver customer value
  • Experience in value selling technical solutions
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Objective and critical thinking capabilities
  • Effective communicator: able to take complex ideas or concepts and simplify
  • Technical acumen for food processing environments and conveyor systems; shop floor to board room skill set
  • Proven experience in peer leadership
  • Strong team player, self-managed and proactive
  • Curious mindset; learner
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
