Dyersburg TN Shift/Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm Pay range: $26.80/hr. Must upgrade testing equipment as necessary. * Is the leader of the Food Safety Team, which includes staying up to date with food safety training. * Will be Audit Team Leader in partnership with QA Manager. * Lead quality control compliance QAS audit and military audits in partnership with QA Manager * Lead food safety compliance audits such as but not limited to FSSC 22000, AIB and FDA in partnership with QA Manager * Design and implement programs to monitor calibration and accuracy of all analytical procedures and equipment in the plant * Lead the interpretation of in-process and analytical data to make quality evaluations, recommend actions for improvements, and assure resolution. Challenge results and drive improvements. Coach others in the interpretation of results * Provide training in the area of food science, regulatory requirements, and quality measurement systems to appropriate personnel * Administer quality control policies and procedures * Will promote and actively demonstrate continuous improvement within the facility * Follow and enforce all Wis-Pak policies and procedures. * Keep records and procedures up to date including documentation review within timeframes as specified on documents * Conduct meetings as needed and participate in facility meetings. * Assist and communicate professionally with other departments. * Must be able and willing to travel as needed and attend external training. * This role requires regular presence on the plant floor. ABOUT YOU * Must possess food manufacturing experience, beverage preferred. * Must possess good people skills. * Possess good skills in math, verbal and written communication. * Good organizational, multi-tasking, time management skills and a proven ability to problem solve. * Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel * Certifications to include HACCP and PCQI for Food Safety, or ability to obtain within one year.
