Apply for Job Job ID 77743 Location Sacramento Full/Part Time Full Time Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Job Summary UC Job Title Sleep Medicine (ASC PHYSCN DIPLOMATE) City Sacramento Job Summary The purpose of this position is to provide the sleep medicine expertise required to maintain a high level of patient care and improve patient access to care. The sleep medicine physician will work solely in the outpatient environment. The incumbent in this position will work at 1 or more outpatient locations. 90% of the time will be seeing patients and 10% of the time will be providing eConsults to HealthSystem physicians and other administrative work. The physician will work in a collaborative environment with physicians in other pulmonary subspecialties, as well as other pulmonary advanced practice providers. A full day of outpatient work is seeing approximately 14 - 16 patients per day. No inpatient work and no call required. The incumbent in this position will be required to have a separate appointment as a volunteer clinical faculty. This separate appointment will allow the incumbent to supervise and interact with medical students and residents.
